starting the firm in 1988. While Martin excels in all areas of the law, he most enjoys being in a courtroom. He
is married to Rachel who also works in the practice. They have 3 children one of whom tragically died in 2000 aged 18.
Martin has appeared many times on TV and Radio programmes. One of his cases was made into a Crime Limited documentary.
He is also the author of "Setting Up and Managing a Small Practice - a Guide for Solicitors" which is published by The Law
Society. His book of legal precedents was published in 2007 also by the Law Society and is now in its 2nd edition.
Carol Reimann

Carol initially trained with local firm Turner and Debenhams and remained with them for 3 years after qualifying in 1983. She then held several positions with Hertfordshire firms before becoming Head of Legal Services for national builders Laing Homes Limited and later Head of Property at Hancock Quins in Watford. She has more than a quarter of a century of conveyancing experience.
Rachel Smith

Rachel helped set up the firm in 1988 and provided all the back room support for the practice. After providing
secretarial support for other lawyers within the firm for some years she moved over to "hands on" legal work in
house buying and selling. She has no formal legal training but has a loyal following of very satisfied customers who
are testimony to her conveyancing skills. She and Martin celebrated their 30th wedding anniversay in 2008.
